Located off the Launton Road next to The Garth, Bicester Green is a centre for sustainability and reuse, essentially giving a second chance to all things and all people. We are a local community organisation that is run by its volunteers for its volunteers. Volunteers repair, reuse, repurpose and recycle donated or customer own bicycles, small household electricals, furniture and wooden items as well as making bespoke items from wood in our beautiful wood workshop. Our shop is an Aladdin’s cave of repaired, restored or handmade made items as well as a growing packaging free offering. Which means you can bring your own containers to refill with household products such as laundry cleaning, hand wash, surface cleaners, personal care products such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash and cooking oils including olive oil and rapeseed oil. Currently restricted by lockdown, Bicester Green is only open on a Saturday for bikes and refills in the shop from 10am to 2pm and our free Dr Bike service (by appointment only) on the last Saturday of every month. (Please note: You can only access us via Launton Road. We are opposite number 5 Launton Road, through the large metal gates)
