More reasons to visit Bicester on a Friday

We have been writing about Bicester Market pretty much every week and why you should visit the market held every Friday from 9am to 4pm.

We have been giving you reasons why Friday is the place to be here in Bicester. Well let’s add more fuel to that fire. Well, this article is for all of you charity shop lovers. Not only can you shop at Bicester Market every Friday you can also check out all of the charity shops.

There are many charity shops situated in the town centre. Let’s take a closer look. First up we have the British Heart Foundation situated on Sheep Street pictured below.

The British Heart Foundation is a well-known charity leading the charge when it comes to researching cures and treatments for heart and circulatory diseases. Next up we have the Salvation Army charity shop, again situated on Sheep Street.

The Salvation Army charity shop ensures that people have access to affordable necessities like clothing items and much more. Next up we have the Forces Support charity shop situated towards the end of Sheep Street.

Forces Support is a UK bereavement and veterans charity. Their stall in Bicester collects furniture and then sells it to the public. Their aim is to raise funds for families and dependants of service personnel who have lost their lives whilst servicing in the British Armed Forces. Next up we have the Blue Cross charity shop also situated on Sheep Street.

Blue Cross use their charity shops to raise money for their animal welfare charity ensuring pets enjoy a good quality of life at all times. Next up in Market Square we have the Katherine House Hospice charity shop.

Katharine House Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with an incurable illness across north Oxfordshire and south Northamptonshire areas. Their shops help raise vital funds to sustain their amazing work. Lastly, we have the charity shop Age UK, based on Dean's Court not far from Sheep Street pictured below.
