Remembrance Sunday 2024 at Market Square

We went along to take photos of Remembrance Sunday at Market Square. It was a tranquil few hours. Market Square was closed off and we listened to stories of people who have served in the armed forces.

We not only owe our lives to those who died in the two world wars, but also those who have served in recent wars. We thank all who have served in our armed forces protecting our liberties and freedom.

We also talked with Ken and Karen Woodhouse from Help for Heroes pictured below.

Ken and Karen are two of Help for Heroes stalwart volunteers. They explained to us that they are looking for more volunteers to help them with events in the Oxfordshire area. There are many volunteering roles you can take part in. Help for Heroes is a fantastic charity that serves a noble cause, helping those who have been wounded while in service in our armed forces.
